The other day I visited an arts and crafts market. I got chatting with a ceramicist. She asked me if I was an artistic sort of person. I was going to say “yes” when I thought of these pictures…
As an aside, when I saved this picture, I named it “talentless hack”.
And I changed my answer to a quiet little “not really”.
Cupboards
We’ve just moved house, and so now I find myself frequently “lost” standing in the kitchen, wondering where the saucepans are. It now occurs to me that this is how my husband and children must feel, ALL THE TIME.
At the moment, the sink is the only thing I can locate without a map.
Kids
Kids are proud of the weirdest things.

Woke up (early) this morning with someone yelling in my ear…
Couldn’t respond, as all the air was being pushed out of my lungs.
Writing
I have an arts degree (B.A.) in literature and composition. I am also partway through a Masters in Writing. Yet somehow, this is the most popular thing I’ve ever written.
Love
This strange little journal is getting followers. So totally feeling the love right now.
I also totally just made a Valentine’s Day card image.
Boxes
New town… Don’t know anyone here, don’t know where anything is… strangely enough, I’m not bored yet.

Someone woke me up an hour and a half earlier than I wanted.
Moved
Moving across the state really isn’t that bad. Unless kids are involved. Because with kids, it seems to just be one tantrum after another.
